The Five Languages of Love

My weekend reading was a book called The Five Languages of Love. Sounds like another cliché book written as an easy antidote for friction in relationships/marriages, right? On the contrary, the book is a very straight forward explanation to why even the most loving couples’ gestures towards one another leads to fire.

Everyone has their preferred ways on giving and receiving L-O-V-E, but not everyone can tune into your unique combination. Spend a few hours, go through the book and take the test at the end to see which languages you speak. The five include words of affirmation, physical touch, gifts, quality time and acts of service.

It’s a quick read and offers a whole new perspective on the interactions in (almost any type of) relationship.
